Liberty University is a fantastic college. Their staff cares about their students and their academic rigor is on par with attendance on campus. I was truly surprised at the difference between this and other universities, having transferred from University of Phoenix where I learned nothing at all. This University equipped me for real world work and I am now continuing my Graduate degree.

Overall, I really enjoy this school. I finished my undergrad with Liberty and continued with them for my Masters (working on now). Thinking about a PhD, but will probably switch schools. I do enjoy the courses, but feel its missing something. The PhD courses are slim to none.

At first, I had reservations taking online courses. After the first semester I quickly realized that the work load is equally, if not more, than other educational institutions. I found the online format to be more user friendly and worked well with my schedule. Some courses allowed me to complete assignments slightly ahead of time; while others preferred not. Well structured programs and excellent faculty. Professors are quite helpful and academic advisors are available to assist the student round the clock. The technology used to conduct the classes is solid and intuitive. The course content is integrated in Blackboard and other learning platform such as Lynda.com are added extras. Excellent online environment and a friendly community. Highly recommended.

Liberty is a great online school to attend. I was not sure when I started, but it has proved to be great. I have visited the campus, and it is absolutely amazing. I really want my boys to go to school here on campus. It is so refreshing to have a Christian perspective in the college setting. I have been to secular Universities, and this is so much better for me personally. I am able to work at home on my own schedule, and not be away from family. The work load is rough at first. The reading load,... Read More

I had to drop my classes in fall semester because my workload at home was too much with classes because of a situation at work. When I went to re enroll for the spring term I was told my aid had been suspended I would have to appeal, I went through an appeal and it was denied because work wasn't a good enough reason. I am a single mother to a four year old and my work load had increased due to losing our General Manager, I had to step in to do GM work and take care of my four year old obviously this... Read More

Liberty University is a good school for transfer students and for those looking to attend a good Christian University. The professors are responsive and all of the support given by the university, be it technical, financial, or administrative, is really good. Saying all of that, would I recommend Liberty University? My answer would be yes and no. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable university, anyone looking to transfer credits from one or more universities, or to... Read More
