I began my schooling after a gap year and was facing uncertainty about where to continue my education. Although I did not feel properly equipped to begin college, the resources offered by Liberty online helped me learn more about communication, proper essay structure, and critical thinking. The professors always answered my questions promptly, and all the assignment instructions and textbooks provided the information I needed to complete my course work.

I enjoyed attending Liberty University for my Master's of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I transferred to Liberty as they accepted the most transfer credits. The classes were online, even the ones that were supposed to be in person due to covid. I gained a lot of knowledge and skills to become a better counselor as I am now working toward licensure.

Excellent online program. Excellent professors, ease of use, and support. Anytime I had a question or needed support, tech support would help me out with my account. The online UI for callses was also very good. Would recommend to anyone looking for a university.

This is a great Christian centered university, I love that throughout majority of your coursework there is a religious input you learn about towards the subject. The online courses are also flexible which fits with daily life scheduling, and professors can be really supportive, overall I would recommend to any other students wanting to join.

I really enjoyed Liberty online!! It was just challenging enough to not feel too easy. I really enjoyed the self-paced feel, but just enough deadlines to not let you get behind at all. The professors were also super helpful when needed - they were always available to answer any questions I had about coursework!!

I don't believe I had a single hands-on professor. They relied on public worksheets they found online and never actually taught a class. Students had to teach themselves. Assignments were automatically graded by computers. Liberty was lacking in almost every department.

I have really loved my experience at Liberty University. All the teacher are kind and helpful. The workload is manageable and they work with students ho have other priorities outside of school. I really enjoyed the Christian environment and how they integrated that into the education.

I experienced thorough and adequate academic teaching from Liberty University. The classes I took were diagnostically sound, and contained a great deal of reliable input from seasoned professors and therapists. The intensive courses were incredibly valuable in gaining hands on experience and seeing some of the best counselors in action. It also very thoughtfully and respectfully incorporated the Christian worldview. The one struggle I had with it is a similar one with all colleges; the cost. Especially... Read More

Overall, I enjoyed my day to day experience at Liberty. Since graduating, there has been a lot of drama about the school’s leadership in the news which makes it a little hard to fully recommend Liberty to others. Despite this, I loved my day to day time there and left having learned a ton about my field and making my closest friends.

I did enjoy my time at Liberty. I thought the teachers were very kind and helpful. I also appreciated the variety of classes I took and the information that I learned. I would recommend this school to some but not everyone. While all the teachers that I dealt with were fair, this does have a reputation as a very conservative school and I know others who dealt with teachers that carried a lot of bias. I, personally, enjoyed my time at liberty and would consider other degrees there.

Liberty University has a great community of people who all work together to achieve good things in the world and spread the gospel of Christ. While the courses are not the most rigorous in the world, there are opportunities for everyone to get whatever they want out of their education. The facilities are top-notch, and the professors are generally helpful and friendly. I would easily recommend LU to anyone looking for a solid Christian education.

I transferred to online Liberty University around the time Covid started. I really enjoyed the way classes were structured. For me personally, I liked how there was more of a reading aspect than video classes. I transferred from online Pensacola Christian College where the classes were recorded and had to be watched. With Liberty University, the reading was more conducive for my education as I tend to lose focus when watching classes. Overall, I would recommend Liberty University to someone looking... Read More

took masters in special education during covid they lied to me about if it would help me in my state, it doesn't help me get licensure in nyc despite recruiters telling me, afterwards 3 yrs in they tell me it doesn't help. Really late, beware of their lies. Online courses are terribly intuitive and they also charge a technology fee that's like 350 dollars to add onto your tuition, but you get trash service. I hope this review helps any future attendee. Look elsewhere for better online programs.

Liberty university was affordable, provided quality education, and was peofessional. They provided a nuanced biblical view of subjects, while also being practical and not spending too much time on irrelevant matters. Classes were conducted professionally and fairly.

I like the biblical teachings of the school and how it has integrated this into the academics of the programs. I like that it was done at my own pace but still had timelines with having to complete the work by a certain day of the week. The online classes were organized with a chart and was easy to see whether or not I completed the assignments. I have still not found a job in my career so that has been the downside. I also feel that I don’t know how I would do things in a job on certain aspects... Read More

Liberty University is a great school as far as online education. I loved that it worked well with me as a working adult. When I was younger, I wanted to be a therapist. Back then, the pay and the amount of education were fair. These days, the student loan debt is not worth the stress. I am currently getting ready to self-study for medical coding. My degree did not get me a very good job, and I am still struggling to make ends meet. I have a whole lot of student loans still as well. To be honest,... Read More

The cost for the 2 semesters I attended was 10 thousand dollars mostly for required Bible study classes. I think my greatest frustration was being lead to believe this was a 0 to completion course for aviation only to find 2 semesters in that you already needed 100 hours of flight time. My 10 thousand dollars would have been better spent towards that really. Totally not worth the costs.

It was going great until the dissertation phase. I was dragged on and misled about the prospects of the total cost and time required. Had to do many course repeats for years and still jobless. False promises on higher wages and jobs, never happened. Debt trap that lures hungry people thinking they'll be better off but even if the very few survive through Ph.D. hell, it won't guarantee anything. Some then go to the postdoc treadmill and little to none will live to tell the tale. Probably won't graduate... Read More
