Degree: Medical Billing & Coding

Altogether, I'm rating this college a 3, but that would be rather generous. I graduated just two months ago, and ended up not being able to pass my certification exam (which was not covered in the tuition price), because my coding classes took place last December, with about 7 or 8 months of classes left. I really enjoyed the classes, and the teachers were great! But I really wish that Keiser staff had set up my classes so the coding portion would come dead last and it could be fresh on my mind.... This school is utterly worthless. Every counselor hands you off to someone else to be there problem. When you get the wrong class/materials for your degree path you are told to just take the class. Teachers are there to just get paid, all the while will actively pick apart your writings to lower your grade and step to the side with any questions about the material. DO NOT ATTEND THIS AWFUL SCHOOL. ABSOLUTE WASTE OF 30K+.

I must say, my experience while attending Keiser was great. I was well pleased with the fast-paced format, and every instructor was quite helpful. The ONLY problem I encountered was the outrageous tuition! Nearly $30,000 for an associates degree is absurd! If they were to lower their tuition, more people would probably attend the school. I have the opportunity to attend Keiser in the fall to acquire my bachelors in Health Science, but I have chosen another university for that because of the lower... Read More

What a horrible and disgusting way to run a buisness. This is only care about money You can get your degree at another school for so much less. I had an associates degree from another college, came here, they took the credits and STILL I ended up with almost 20k in debt. I feel so stupid now because when I signed up I thought I was making an attempt to better my life. They also hold the right to raise tuition at any moment WITHOUT notice. I was down on my luck and made a stupid decision to come here.... Read More

Degree: Medical Billing & Coding

Only online classes offered for medical billing and coding. For someone with no medical background, Keiser University proved to be a horrible financial decision. Here are the reasons why. 1) You will have to pay roughly $10,000 per semester. 2) Even if you drop out, you must pay for the entire semester, regardless of the reason(s) for not completing the semester. 3) You must cram a lot of information into each class, without ever actually knowing your professor; if you need quick help -- for any...
