i was able to connect my everyday life and past experiences to my studies and learn how to impact the people around me who are in need. It was a wonderful program and I use my education in my personal and professional life every day!

Good college with helpful professors. The atmosphere of the school is nice, although the beauracracy can be frustrating

Wonderful experience. Staff was truly invested in shaping students as the best public health professionals they could be. They always had an open door policy and would go the extra mile to help you out.

The financial aid program could be better. More information for incoming freshmen about loans and how they work would go a long way.

I have been attending school at the Olathe campus. There is just one building. Many classes are available online, and the school also uses video conferencing to allow students who are not able to be physically present to still be able to interact with. Professors and other students. The program is still fairly new. More professors are needed to teach laboratory classes which are not yet available to students.

The faculty are very supportive and will help you in any way they can. The program is new but is very competitive in terms of financial support.

So far, I have been very happy with Kansas State University. My adviser has been very helpful in setting me up with a plan of study that will be manageable and focused on my future goals. As a distance student, there is a tendency to feel removed from the university (as I have experienced at other universities). Kansas State's habit of having other graduate students call and welcome me into the university, however, has made me feel much more comfortable.

The pro's would be that this program has a lot of opportunities for you to get "outside" the classroom experience, which is great for our field. The teachers are extremely helpful and will work overtime to make sure we understand the material. In the program, we all act like family and help support each other, we are not trying to out-compete one another. The con's would be the price tag, especially for out-of-state students, and that is how it is at every school for this program. Another con would... Read More

This graduate program is excellent. The people around you truly care about your success and are eager to watch you grow in your educational experiences. I feel that this program will allow me to venture through doors that may not have been available to me otherwise.

The professors at K-State are extremely passionate about their students and their area of study. They will go out of their way to answer any questions and clarify confusing topics. The workload is heavy and stressful, but I know that it is developing me into a better public sector manager.

This program is fairly easy. K-State is a great school in a great city, but I wish it was a bit more challenging.

KSU CVM is preparing myself and my classmates for a career in Veterinary Medicine very well. Course work is rigorous, but beneficial and we are looking forward to completing our clinical year next year in the teaching hospital with faculty members.

We don't get into the clinic until 4th year and the rotations can either overwhelm you or leave you with some free time depending on which one you're in. We lack tech support in our ICU, so students do a lot of the work as mandatory shifts. The clinicians are overall very friendly, however they recently made our teacher reviews non-anonymous, so students rarely get to input criticism without the potential for it coming back to haunt them.

Disappointed in some K-State College of Education faculty behavior toward graduate students. Authoritarian attitudes make for unpleasant working relationships between graduate students and faculty. Rather than feeling like colleagues, some faculty make their graduate students feel inferior.
