Bloomberg School of Public Health is a great school for sharpening your research and technical skill sets for public health practice. The part time format allows for alot of flexibility in doing the program. Financial aid and support can be limited so apply early and look for many financial support opportunities because it is expensive.

The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health is an amazing place to study. The resources and educational opportunities available there are the best in the world. However, make certain that you take cost into consideration (including the amount you need to borrow) before starting any degree program, and balance the cost of the degree with the salary for the type of job you want to get after graduation.

JHSPH is the best school that I have ever attended. I love the collaborations and the openness to new ideas. Dean Klag created an environment where everyone feels welcome and no one feels like they are competing against each other. By far my best educational experience to date.

This school provides excellent networking opportunities for future prospects. However, more student funding should be available for graduate programs. School should focus more on students and teaching, rather than just research. At least opportunities for students to do research are abundant!

JHSPH offers a lot of research opportunities. You would be able to work along some of the most world renowned researchers and scholars. The school is also unique in the sense that it has a very comprehensive school of public health with departments that do not exist in other schools. Lastly, it is consistently ranked the #1 School of Public Health!

Great variety and quality of courses, majors, professors and opportunities to apply knowledge.

Pros: You get research opportunities and interact with faculty a lot. Classes are demanding but interesting. The school is very nice and the program is balanced. Cons: high cost of living and tuition is very expensive, poor financial aid for masters students

The Bloomberg School of Public Health has a very rigorous MSPH program that really challenges public health students and gives them practical experiences to exercise the knowledge learned in the classroom. Faculty and professors are highly invested in students as well.

At the beginning, the workload is tough. After the first term, it becomes manageable. The work is worth the network, quality of faculty, and the name you will be getting on your degree.

The biggest con is the price of tuition is very high. However, all the professors and faculty are greatly invested in all of their students' educations.

Excellent program with well qualified faculty members. The experiences of students in the program adds to the richness. There are ample opportunities to make professional connections.

One of the key features of my program in International Health is the 4 quarter system rather than the semester system. This is great because you are allowed to take more classes in less time, however the workload is both challenging and intense this way. One of the biggest pros is the support of the faculty and the connections you can make at Hopkins. The biggest con is the fact that there are barely any merit-based scholarships or need-based financial aid.

JHSPH is based on a quarter system which is a much different system than the semester system and takes a lot to get used to. The con of this is that most of the programs are shorter than what they would be on a semester system so you can complete your degree faster.

 It's the #1 public health school in the country!  It's located in East Baltimore, which is super sketchy.

The pros are the access to leaders in the field as it is the highest ranking program in the nation. The cons are the term system, so since each term is so short (shorter than a quarter system), courses move very quickly. I also think they could offer better campus computing systems.
