This school being known for being a commuter campus, is true to its soul. If you live on campus, you should try to live at the tower or North Hall; other housing options make it almost impossible to access student dining on the weekends and are located a reasonable distance away from the main campus, so it's not ideal during the winter if the shuttles are not running. On- campus dining is not that great; it's made me sick before, and other students have talked about bugs in the salad bar. The main... Read More

I think that if people are solely dedicated to academics, IUI is a great school. Because it's primarily a commuter campus, there is a greater focus on getting in, learning your field, and getting out. There were a few professors with an ego (mostly ones who were imported from the business world rather than academia) but they never gave me an issue, personally. I would say that career services could do a better job at guiding students and having more networking events.

I think IUI is very kind and a very inclusive school! Many students are welcoming and nice, and they always help out if needed. If you're ever lost, it's a great idea to just ask the person next to you, because people at IUI are very personable and willing to help.

Overall I liked my expereience. I had good classes and good teachers for the most part. I wish the online part was a bit more interactive in ways than just zoom but I did like that online was also an option for me since I lived off campus. I also think they should have p[aid thier students more for the work at the school.

I was able to learn a lot at this university, during my time as an undergrad when it was still IUPUI. I did not know anything about programming, but obtained necessary foundational knowledge while attending here. However, after the split, I felt like the quality of the academics went down. A lot of the amazing CSCI professors left and the course offerings were really low. I even met with my advisor once to plan my schedule, and she said there would definitely be more courses added (there wasn't).... Read More

IU Indy was a great school to go to. The staff, espeically in the psychology department, are so knowledgable and are almost all very active in research, so they have a great deal of information to provide and even opportunities for students to gain research experience in undergrad! The location of IU Indy is phenomenal, with partnerships available at many local organizations and businesses. They love hiring IU Indy grads!

Purdue has been great! I love how it accommodates to my schedule. It has gone by so fast! The classes and information are really useful as well as the online tech staff. I really enjoyed my time here at Purdue and I plan to further my education in the future. I will be applying for my Bachelor's and Masters coming up in November.

The only issue I have a problem with is that me not being able to afford to pay sat me out of school for twenty weeks. I would have been finished school if it wasn't for the money. I wanted to know is there ways to help other people so the don't have to go through what I have been through. I take away from the excitement of school/graduation. Struggling like I have just made you want to be done.

Going back for my degree was made easy with PG. I was able to transfer my credits and pick up where I left off free of hassle. My classes were to follow without feeling overwhelmed by school and life. The faculty was amazing with helping me further my education. If I had to do it all over again, PG would be my school of choice every single time.

Great experience! I started out with a Kaplan then after my associates it was switched to Purdue Global! I was old recommend this school (online) to anyone. It’s easy to understand with the online program, great professors, awesome advisor's, amazing classmates, etc. Graduated ceremonies are GREAT! I had so much fun meeting people and still in contact with a lot of my classmates!

For me, Purdue University Global is one the best university in the world that provide online education. Professors help students with meaningful and quick feedback. Most of them are even flexible on assignments and discussion boards' due dates. And counselors are always available to help.

Unwelcoming environment. Unreasonable amount of projects in part-time program, especially considering most part-time students work full-time. Instructors are cold and make it a principle from the beginning of class to inform the students that they will not receive A's. Very difficult to communicate with instructors. Overall, very bad experience and I would not recommend to anyone.

This school was a good fit for me for many reasons. First, they accepted transfer credits from Ivy Tech, where I earned an Associate's Degree. However, the downside was that they only accept a limited number of transfer credits, so keep that in mind if you are looking to transfer. Now, many two-year colleges have specific transfer programs. Second, the Liberal Arts professors were top-rate. It did not matter what class I took, the majority of my professors not only knew the material but had a passion... Read More

Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) is a diverse educational institution. It offers various programs and is close to the heart of downtown Indianapolis. It also has four hospitals in close proximity to campus which adds to the number of opportunities on-campus or near campus for student employment. The program I participated in was offered by the Kelley School of Business. It not only allowed me to complete a triple major and double minor but diversify my education, build a... Read More

The program, in its' current form, is an unorganized mess. The advisors have no idea about course electives, curriculum requirements, or changes. Often course curriculum will change (it has three times since starting the program) and the advisor will make you change courses, even though you entered in a different catalog year. It takes the advisor weeks to get back to you and registration sometimes closes before you can get the information you need or permission to enter a course. Each of the professors... Read More

I graduated from IUPUI in 2016. I liked the academics at IUPUI. They have wide variety of majors to choose from. I transferred from biology major to psychology. The faculty at the school that thought my classes were awesome. Undergraduate research opportunities offered by the university get a one of my stars. Being located in downtown opens up lot of job opportunities as well as provides access to low price apartment rentals to the students .

The Master of Accounting degree from the Kelley School of Business on the IUPUI campus is a phenomenal degree. The professors are top notch and prepare you for the public and corporate accounting world, in my opinion, better than most other graduate accounting degrees on other campuses. I would recommend this program to anyone that is serious about being at the top of the accounting profession.
