School provided the opportunity to take all classes online. Advisors were always available and helpful.
I graduated from IRSC with multiple degrees and a Nursing License. My children have also attended classes at IRSC.
Trickier to become an instructor as I would have like the opportunity to advance to that level.

IRSC was affordable and practical for those returning from an absence in college level courses, new college students, and/or anyone enrolling in collegiate courses for their very first time (regardless of age). The campuses, classrooms, and advisors are all great and very up to par compared to other colleges. It’s a great school to finish your general education courses/ Associates degree. Or continue your studies and graduate with your bachelor’s degree. I’d recommend IRSC very much.

The Disconnected Run Around - Trying to get them to talk to me & each other. Impossible to get anywhere by email with multiple people, in many departments, at various campuses. Pleading not to be sent to voicemail. Reached leadership, who ignored me.

My previous review is incorrect. IRSC was the single greatest experience of my life. IRSC offers constant opportunities to network and participate in school functions both promotional and charitable. Between my professors and fellow students, I have been changed for the better and shaped for life. Without IRSC I would still be stuck............. I recommend IRSC to anyone looking to enrich their lives by bettering themselves.

This college is packed to the brim with incompetent student service and staff. I had to LITERALLY ask the guidance to email the graduation department to remind them to order my certification in AutoCAD after months of waiting for it. How is it that those people can forget someone's degree or cert after they had completed the required classes? It is beyond me. Another issue that I had is the fact that the Associates Major I was pursuing at the time was being phased out due to lack of professors or... Read More

IRSC offers an excellent program in Human Services, probably one of the best. As a graduate student I hear other students discussing their concerns about practicum - most have little or no experience while students who have attended IRSC have a wealth of experiential classes to guide them as well as excellent professors. The only issues I had while a student at IRSC was scheduling - classes were often full and I had to wait a semester to register - while frustrating it was well worth the wait and... Read More

The Human Services program has amazing professors who want to impart all they have learned, and all they have used in their own careers, and they are great at doing that. I felt truly important to my professors because I felt like they invested into me as a student. I always felt safe on campus, I liked going to the events, and I would recommend Emerging Leaders Path to every future student. It's extracurricular, and you will be SO deeply enriched by it.

IRSC is by far one of the best colleges in my state. From past family experience, other schools are too large to help with personal needs. IRSC has smaller class sizes and is more personal. IRSC also has a great staff, vast numer of program, diferent locations and the lowest tuttion rates in Florida.

Indian River State College offers an excellent bachelor's degree program for Public Administration with concentration in Public Policy and Leadership. This degree program prepares students for future leadership roles in public and private sectors of local, state, and national government. After obtaining my degree in this field, I was encouraged to pursue a master's degree in Organizational Leadership, where I can apply my knowledge of policy and leadership skills to operational techniques and competence... Indian River State College gave me the tools and skills needed to graduate. The institution has programs and resources available to make sure that you succeed. Attending this institution gave me courage to step out of my comfort zone by hosting college events and publicly speak in front of hundreds of people. As well as attend leadership seminars. Their services give you more than just academic but life.

Indian River is a great school. After being out of school for a while they were great in pointing me in the right direction to help me take my career to the next level. They have advisors that will help pick out the classes that are best for you and guide you through the whole process. Awesome school to attend!

IRSC was a great school to attend. I have taken classes on campus as well as online and had great experiences.I loved 95% of my instructors which is a great percentage.I would say that my professors really went out their way to help you but at the same time didn't hold your hand and treat you as an adult. My years of experience there was well worth it!

I love this school. It has low tuition rate which does not increase. The staff is helpful and the teachers work with you to make sure they help you pass your class. I have taken most of my classes online and it is just as simple as the in the class room. I would highly suggest this school.
