I have been with this college almost 19 months now and as of January ill have my associates degree, and I'll be honest I at one point almost considered dropping out because I didn't think I could handle juggling work and my kids plus college, but with help from my professors and from the dean I was able to not struggle as much and pass all my classes. My advisor is amazing she calls me twice a month to check in on me and make sure I have everything that I need. And ever since covid hit the financial... Read More

Save your self the trouble, DON'T DO IT. They really just blow smoke up your ass. Sorry for the language but they are so full of shit. It will all sound good at first but it's not. Only time you'll hear from them is when they want to collect money. When you need help with school work they will NOT respond in a timely manner. This school is a rip off.

So far, everything has been good , decent, and on time. Instructors are easy to get in touched with. It seem like everyone has their own experiences, and reading some of these reviews kind of got me scared to attend the classes. LOL. But I've noticed the instructors are easy to get in touched with , I have their personal numbers, and actually send them a text message when needed. So far, I haven't had any problems. Thankfully, I was approved quick, and waiting on my tablet and laptop.

First I am a veteran and would recommend that no other member of the military ever even consider this institution. When the VA finally decided to do my knee surgery, I immediately contacted the school. The instructor became hostile and informed me that I was jeopardizing my degree that was equal to a Havard degree. Can you imagine? I called the president of Independence University and informed him what was said. He apologized, and admitted that this was not the truth. The next day the instructor... Read More

The faculty and staff are amazing. I never felt like I was alone. My instructors all stayed in touch by telephone and email through all my courses. The program was very good. The classes weren't easy, but almost all of them were relevant. It was a great choice for me.

I started school at Independence University in October of 2015. I was 17 years old at the time and recently turned 18 of May 13, 2016. This college is actually pretty great. I have learned so much. The instructors are great and always help you when you need it. I will have my degree in May of 2017. The classes have actually excited me a lot to go into my career field.

This school is very fun to me, and I am glad I attended this school. The instructors are great and the glass is great. I was kind of hesitant to keep going because half of my pell grant and my unsub/sub money went towards my tuition and I have to pay for school and I cant find a job. Hopefully the next half of money comes to me and I can pay for it. Overall this university is great, I would suggest the university to people

I am a single mom - without this school I wouldn't be where I am today! I talked to a lot of schools before I made the decision to go here; I'm glad I found Independence University. I will graduate next year in January. I worked full time since I was 16, I am now 48 years old ... I found that even though I had over 25 yrs experience in management that I wasn't making the kind of income I deserved because I didn't have a degree. I would apply for positions to move up in my company, I had the experience... Read More

I have tried to begin to writing reviews when I'm happy with a service instead of only doing it when I'm unhappy since so many people only go to the internet when they're upset. Anyway, I want to say that I'm a current student at Independence University & I'm very happy!!!! I can't tell you how helpful they have been throughout my entire time attending! I attended another online college before this and they only cared about me when I was enrolling. After that, they left me to fend for myself. Not... Read More

This school is a waste of time and energy, If you call the University with questions you get the run around with multiple people under the same extension. The laptop took forever to get delivered, mysteriously nobody knew the tracking number. Now I'm still having issues getting contact through the college. Do not apply here, they are a waste of time.
