I have been with this college almost 19 months now and as of January ill have my associates degree, and I'll be honest I at one point almost considered dropping out because I didn't think I could handle juggling work and my kids plus college, but with help from my professors and from the dean I was able to not struggle as much and pass all my classes. I highly recommend this college because you do it at your own pace as long as you have the drive, determination, and discipline to focus and set aside the time to read everything and actually do the work in full.

First I am a veteran and would recommend that no other member of the military ever even consider this institution. When the VA finally decided to do my knee surgery, I immediately contacted the school. The instructor became hostile and informed me that I was jeopardizing my degree that was equal to a Havard degree. Can you imagine? I called the president of Independence University and informed him what was said. He apologized, and admitted that this was not the truth. The next day the instructor... Read More called me and berated me for not keeping up in class. I informed him that I was not interested in his class any longer. Calling the president again, I requested the instructor no longer contact me for any reason or I would drop out, and it was agreed upon. The next day the instructor called and so I informed him I was dropping out. Period. Don't call back. Now I owe over 2,000 dollars, because I could not travel to wherever in the hell they wanted to sign the proper form to actually drop out. After over a year they finally accepted their worthless (used when I got it) laptop back, which they tried to charge me almost 1,700 dollars for.

I didnt want to go to college, I felt lost at first but then I just decided to walk in and everyone made my experience nice and easy they took me step by step for applying! So easy I was not nervous anymore i was actually excided they worked with me they understood me and made my monthly payment something I could afford. I am a single mom - without this school I wouldn't be where I am today! I talked to a lot of schools before I made the decision to go here; I'm glad I found Independence University. I will graduate next year in January. I worked full time since I was 16, I am now 48 years old ... I found that even though I had over 25 yrs experience in management that I wasn't making the kind of income I deserved because I didn't have a degree. So, a friend recommended Independence University to me, she said she loved the support they offered her and they were always honest with her. I called them and was very impressed with their business program and the fact that I could do everything on line so that I could still work and take care of my kids. Since I started working toward my degree I was offered a better position & I'm already making more money! It's a great school, I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I have tried to begin to writing reviews when I'm happy with a service instead of only doing it when I'm unhappy since so many people only go to the internet when they're upset.
