Hofstra has a very strong student life and excellent multicultural and LGBT programs. Hofstra rewards creative people who take initiative and show leadership potential. I have the best memories of my life at Hofstra.

Hofstra University is a University full of opportunities. The mental health counseling program for masters has amazing professors who are more than willing to help their students succeed. The professors are very invested in their students and are also very engaged with the organizations the students are involved in as well.

Great school with many amenities, and networking opportunities. Education is superb. However, certain areas can be spotty in living quarters/conditions/environment.

I am very happy to be a part of the Rehabilitation Counseling master's program at Hofstra. It is a competitive program with an outstanding reputation in New York state. The job outlook is strong for this field and Hofstra's program being one of the few in New York State there is a greater chance for job placement immediately after graduation. The faculty is helpful and supportive as well. Overall, it is a very good program.

The best thing about this program is that you do not have to search internship by yourself. However, I would have prefer more selection in every semester.
