I graduated from Governors State University with my BS in Computer Science after transferring from community college and this program did very little to adequately prepare me to enter the job market. The computer science program lacks academic rigor and allows students to graduate with only beginner-level programming and technology skills. I used to be graduate student in this school’s counseling program and I must say that I had the worst experience ever. I was one hour away from graduating, but I was failed by three professors on the board that did not like me. All I did was finish with a 3.5 GPA, complete all my practicum and internship hours, and I completed and submitted my defense portfolio.
