I had a great experience with GGU - Very responsive professors and interactive with the classes. Financial aid and student advisors tend to be slow to respond, so I would highly suggest creating a calendar invite so they can set a time to discuss any questions you may have. Overall, this school provided me with a great education and industry insights about my career choice and degree.

Don't waste you money here. The counselors are clueless. There is no one who seems to have a direct path for graduate students. They make the students register the courses for themselves and tell them to follow the guides. However, these courses aren't always available and if the students pick the courses, they potentially could have setbacks for not taking a pre-requisite.

It was a good school but I would of preferred to go elsewhere it was convenient to get my law and MBA degrees together

Unlike any other schools around the bay area, they won't charge you for out-states tuition! That makes it less financial burden for those from outside of California. This also applies to internationals! What I like about this school is that you get to learn from professors with practical skills and an actual industrial knowledge from them.

Hello All, I am currently studying in GGU and will graduate in 2017. GGU has given me a lot of opportunities to learn and to grow. I have gained immense amount of exposure in my field. Location of the university is one of the plus points. Only minus point is the university is pretty expensive but it is worth it to study in this university and gain the exposure the university and the location of the university has to offer. I would definitely recommend GGU to other students. Thanks.

GGU's technical masters program is a blend of technology and business. You get the chance to learn technological idea keeping business in mind. Best part of the GGU is most of the professors are industry experts which gives you clear insights on what's going on in the market. You get a chance to learn practical knowledge. I think GGU is one of the best schools to graduate from.

Excellent school; established in 1901...started out at a YMCA adult evening college and grew from there. I received by BS Info. Tech in 2006 and have worked there for 8 years. Great place to work as well. Military friendly school; was able to use my GI Bill with no issues and was able to get 9 units from my military training/schooling. The school has regional accreditation and ABA accreditation for Law School. Highly recommended.

Golden Gate University is an excellent spot for those employed full-time. It offers the flexibility and class rigor to accommodate yet challenge you in becoming a better business professional. To add, the class size is inherently small yet diverse in nature, ranging from students with science backgrounds to those with strict business backgrounds. You can really experience various viewpoints.

Overall, a great program for students who work full-time and go to school part time. The program is very flexible and has a great, seasoned staff with much experience and industry insight. The student body is diverse, with most students having real world work experience.

Excellent school, teachers, program, and advisors. I had a minor issue with financial aid once, and they dealt with it immediately. I had a minor issue with a group project once, and the teacher dealt with it immediately. Minor issue with scheduling once, and the dean dealt with it immediately. Responsive and professional. Highly recommended.

Pros: university usually provide career meet-up, hope us communicate with each other, and share our stories to improve our social networks. Cons: school do not provide dormitory, we need to look house by ourselves.

Overall, Golden Gate University is an okay school. But if one plans to get into law, accounting or taxation then it is a really good school with great opportunities for the students. The school is located in the financial district of San Francisco which many people love.

One biggest thing I noticed is less diversity. There are many Chinese students here and I don't have many American students. It is better to have diversity in order to exchange different opinion and ideas. However, Golden Gate University has the best accounting and taxation program in the states. Classes are practical and hands on. A lot of alumni work at variety firms which is good for networking.

There are many Chinese students in classes these days. So if you prefer more diversify, this school is not for you. However, the school thinks much of practical lectures. Most of professor s are working professionals. You can learn very practical skills. Work loads are not so heavy, so you can keep high grades if you are not lazy.
