This is the perfect MBA program for busy adults. 10 graduate courses is the right amount when you are also juggling a full-time job and a family. I see many schools out there that require all kinds of pre-requisite "foundation courses" and several more courses to complete within their programs. For most adults that's just not realistic and the burn-out is very real. Trust me, 10 courses is no breeze! You must put in the time and effort to complete your MBA at Fitchburg and by the time you reach the... Read More

I earned my MBA at FSU. It took me about a year and was inexpensive. I began my studies at Fitchburg having never written a paper longer than three pages, with no knowledge of APA/college style writing, and had never done research. I found FSU relatively straightforward, and although I had a hiccup here and there, I graduated with a 3.91. My undergraduate degree is from Berklee College of Music, and the effort required to do well at FSU was nowhere near as difficult as my undergraduate coursework.... Read More

As someone who has graduated from the Fitchburg State University MBA program, I can tell you that this school is worth your money. The professors are brilliant and genuinely care about their students. The curriculum is good, and the school has a variety of electives you can take to help you get your MBA on track with what you want to do. The value of what you get for the money is fantastic. I would recommend this school to anyone who wants an MBA but does not want to put their life on hold while... Read More

My time at Fitchburg State Umiversity was really great. I graduated with an MBA and learned quite a bit. Professors, for the most part, were VERY good. Lots of concern for student success and lots of support. Administration was also good. Advising could use some improvement but it was satisfactory. In summation, great educational experience with a very good and rigorous academic program. Would do it again.

The instruction and course work were for the most part terrific. Two courses were not offered and I had to take them outside of the EDLM program, which was okay but the focus of the course work was not necessarily what I required for my learning purposes. The major problem I have with this University is their lack of communication with those students that are not on campus/undergraduate. I was constantly bombarded with information via email geared toward those students but very little was shared... Read More

I absolutely loved the school, campus, professors, department and staff. Extremely helpful MBA program coordinators. Professors go out of way to help and provide assistance. Program itself requires a lot of work (expected and not an easy program and does require effort, time and interest). You have to write a lot (so be prepared). IT support and facilities are great. Campus is beautiful and not far from Boston. Loved the experience and highly encourage others.

My experience at Fitchburg State University was well worth the price of admission. My instructors were incredibly insightful and I was challenged throughout my undergraduate career. The myriad of required courses helped me with my critical thinking as I learned about subjects that were once foreign to me. For example, Commonwealth of the Arts is a course that will challenge students with no artistic background to think outside of the box. Despite the excellence of the institution, my degree had a... I attended Fitchburg State College at night using the GI Bill. I did this while a US Army military instructor stationed at Fort Devens, MA. Every aspect of Fitchburg was excellent. The teachers were exceptional. My classmates were exceptional. I still remember Dr. Anne May (now deceased) as one of the most professional academics I ever met. She guided me through a US Dept of Health, Education, and Welfare mini-grant (one of only ten issued in the nation) to study military speech disorders among military... Read More

Great college depending on the major chosen. If the major is highlighted by the college you will get great support to succeed.

What I enjoyed most about FSC was the size of the campus. I could walk around campus and know a lot of my fellow classmates - regardless if they were in my business classes or not. A nice small campus, great intramural sports, great teachers at a fair cost.

I absolutely love the Reading Specialist program at Fitchburg State. The professors have all been extremely knowledgeable and helpful which is wonderful. It has made succeeding much easier. It has always been easy to register for classes and the staff in all of the offices have been understanding and helpful. As a graduate student I have not taken advantage of all the new upgrades the college has to offer which made it hard to rate. However, I have heard many good things about new technology and... The graduate program at Fitchburg State University is prestigious in that they truly give you all the tools you need to succeed. The graduate program professors truly care about your progress each course and assist you in whatever you need to ensure you earn the best GPA you can. The city of Fitchburg is not one that is exactly considered safe, however the campus itself is monitored regularly by campus police.

I completed my undergraduate degree at Fitchburg State, so I am very familiar with the department that runs my current graduate program. I mainly chose Fitchburg State because it was the most affordable of the three schools I was accepted to, and I don't regret my decision at all. I am very happy with the faculty as well as with what I'm learning in my coursework. If I had any cons about my program so far, it would be that my advisor has been very hard to get in touch with. Otherwise, I highly recommend... Read More

I very much enjoyed my time at Fitchburg. The communications program is the best, all the professors are industry professionals and they teach you a lot. I was promoted in under 9 months because of knowledge and I contribute that to my great professors. The campus is nice and small with everything in walking distance. I personally loved that all I had to do was cross the street to go to class. The buildings are being constantly updated. The surrounding community had been improving over the years... Read More

Fitchburg State is great for communications media, specifically film/video production. The teachers are great and really know what they're doing. There's not too much to do around the area but there are plenty of clubs and events at the school. However, as a film student the area offers many different types of locations and is great for filming. A lot of buildings and areas have recently been updated, rebuilt, remodeled, etc. so it is new and nice. It's not too big of a school so eventually everyone... Read More
