I graduated with my Associates Degree in Nursing in 2010. Excelsior allowed me the opportunity to bridge from Paramedic to RN and move forward with my career as at the time I was a single mother with 2 children working full time as a Paramedic. Since that time I worked as an ER nurse, travel nurse across the U.S. and have been a successful flight nurse for the last 10 years. I have obtained my CEN, CFRN and BSN which I received from University of Texas at Arlington. I would not have been able to... Read More

I don’t usually write online reviews, but Excelsior College gave me a great education and provided a number of valuable resources. Throughout every step of my education, I had professors and advisors interested in helping me succeed. After attending a traditional university, I found that the advisors at Excelsior were equally (if not more) available than my in-person advisors were.

The CPNE was a nightmare- spelled out fair enough- but they will fail you for the most simple things- out $1200- then raised another $1200 and banged it off without a problem. Much to memorize- then just do the steps- done! Now Im fininshing last few weeks of BSN- idk of all online programs are as bad as this or if it is just Excelsior. Out of touch with students- minimal comunnication. Im so done with it! 4 years of hell.

I was an lpn. I applied for the associate degree in nursing, went through all the courses and took the cpne. I passed on the first time and i've been nursing every since. I am now in the bachelor's program for nursing and its going very well. Best decision i ever made.

On June 15th, 2018, I graduated with a BSN from Excelsior college. Prior to that I had attended the Excelsior College ASN program to become an RN in California in 2006, before the licensing rules change affected me. In my mind I owe my entire career to Excelsior College. Having always disliked school, I would have never become an RN through a traditional route and would have stayed a Paramedic. Thankfully Excelsior offered a non-traditional pathway to becoming an RN, which allowed me to expand my... Read More

Great for working adults. Communication with instructors was easy and as frequent as needed. The course material was relevant and communication boards provided an expansion of idea and creativity. I really enjoyed the experience and thought it provided a high quality education.

Do not waste your money. Go to a traditional college or a reputable 5 star online school. I did not get a return on my investment because the teaching in my opinion and some others lacked the needed information to pass the extremely hard tests done via testing centers. I feel they took advantage of my wallet. Which I believed they targeted from the beginning. Shame on myself and this school for guiding me into a shady only me learning contract that had binded me to a win for Excelsior/DLSI and a... Read More

Excelsior College was a perfect fit for me because I earned my degree online while still working full time in the army. The school was very accessible and the staff were accommodating to me. I earned the BSN this past April and it will confer in June. This was the best school experience because I had enough time for every facet of my life.

SCAM! You finish the entire program and have to wait a year and a half to get a date to take the CPNE. Ridiculous. I should have just gone to a local night program. DONT DO IT!!! It is expensive and after all of the work you put into it to end up having to enroll in a local program just to finish and get your license is truly disappointing.

I completed my BSN at Excelsior College in 2013 and am now pursuing my MSN there. Excelsior College is a National League for Nursing recognized Center for Excellence in Nursing Education and the high quality faculty they employ show it. My BSN greatly enhanced my knowledge of nursing and it has given me immediate promotional opportunity as well as increased income. I received excellent financial aid assistance in my BSN and I wish such aid existed for graduate nursing education. I reviewed a lot... Read More
