Degree: Business Administration

Eastern University is a well-respected institution. It offers an online MBA program that is extremely beneficial for working adults, which is perfect for someone like me who works a full time job and teaches dance at two local dance studios. The flexible structure is fantastic for someone on the go.

I do with there was more hands-on instruction, but that's just a con to an online program.

Degree: Clinical Psychology

I attended Eastern University from 2011-2017 to get my masters degree in counseling. I went as a part time student and took in person evening classes. I enjoyed my time at Eastern and met a lot of wonderful people. The professors were great and I really enjoyed my coursework. Also, the campus is beautiful!

It’s a great school that allows for work life balance. They are extremely friendly and the admissions team is able to assist you all the way. Additionally, the teachers are great, and there are no timelines for your assignments. This allows you to have full control of your schedule.

The graduation rate could be better, but unfortunately this “Christian” school lacks some of the fundamental principles they teach. The teachers seem to really care and be patient. However the lack of empathy that permeates the leadership at this school is appalling. I’ve decided to start over at a completely different school.

Degree: Elementary Education

From the minute I walked onto Eastern's campus, I knew that I belonged there. Originally, I had applied to the Philadelphia Art Institute, and my brother had decided to go to Eastern. When I went to help move him the course of my life changed, and for the better. I knew I needed to enroll and study Elementary Education. The campus is BEAUTIFUL, and the friendships I built there have lasted a lifetime. My classes were challenging and stimulating. They invoked passion, sparked debate, and promoted... Read More

Eastern was an amazing school with emphasis on social justice. I was young and naive when I first attended Eastern, and I had the opportunity to be engaged and exposed to many different services, clubs, and teams emphasizing themes of inclusion, love and justice. Many of which were in the light of the Christian Eye; therefore, faith was at the forefront of conversation. My degree in Economics/Finance was in its infancy; therefore, I'm not sure how it compares today. However, class sizes are small... Read More

Degree: Psychology

As an undergrad, I enjoyed my time in Eastern's Psych and English departments; but, now as a graduate student, I am immensely grateful for the preparation I received during my time there. The professors are brilliant and compassionate, constantly working to build up the whole person of students rather than simply focusing on academic development. They are also committed to providing students with a thorough education. I've been able to walk into my graduate school classes feeling like I had a leg... Read More

Degree: Education

Eastern University is clearly the place to be. As a recently-enrolled graduate student, I had countless options to look at when considering the right school for my master's degree. Then came Eastern. The staff were friendly, attentive, and goal-oriented from day one. I rarely had to wait more than an hour to receive a response to my communications with them. After enrollment, the commitment to my education as a student only grew stronger. The staff is so knowledgeable, and my campus director and... Read More

This school is beautiful. There is plenty of parking space on campus, trail ways, and a pond. The staff are super friendly which is always important. The programs really prepare you for the field you are in. If you enjoy a scenic view and are looking to attend a great school, this one is for you!

Eastern was a phenomenal program that truly maximized my potential to be the best psychotherapist I can be. I felt clinically ready and prepared when I began Internship, and amazed my Supervisor time and time again. She has stated that she has never had interns as well-prepared before. Further, the schools devotion to introspection and academic rigor were facets to my education that allowed me to become well-rounded. I was accepted readily into a doctoral program which I will begin shortly after... Read More

Eastern's academic strength resides in the exceptional faculty. Because it is a rather small school your professors not only remember your name, but they know who you are and are always available to meet and discuss your studies. This strength of faculty members more than makes up for the poor administration of the university and the limited course offerings. My main complaint is that, aside from Templeton Honors College, the gen. ed. requirement classes are easy (and can be boring). However, as... Read More
