It was all good until you run out of financial Aide. They throw you under the bus. I only have one class left to take to graduate with Bachelors degree in Business Management. Failed a couple of classes. Had to retake. Financial Aide ran out. No help!

Bad school. Horrible help. Would not recommend any one to pursue their education here… no way to improve the post graduation services. All around horrible experience. Even worse while attending the university. Please choose somewhere else to graduate. Not at DeVry you’ll regret it like I do.

I am a proponent of online education; however you must understand that although it allows you to fit school around your schedule, it does require a lot more commitment and self determination to learn the material and apply it. You are in essence teaching yourself the material with exception to a small amount of instruction from the faculty member. There isn't live lectures, mandatory classes, etc. It is "here is the material, learn it, read the book and apply it". So it does require a significant... Read More

Good school if you want to get a lot of experience quick. I had to put in work every 8 weeks and hustle. The advisors were always nice and available. They always explained what was going on. Professors have great work experience that bring a lot to the lectures rather than just book smart on a topic.

I have to agree with the other reviewers. When I first transfer to DeVry, I received a lot of attention and they assured me that there was always going to be help available with questions/concerns. During my first semester, I took two classes. Mind you these are the same two classes I previously took at another College but DeVry said they were not at the level that they wanted so I had to take them again. One of the classes, I thought was very easy. I logged in twice a week since that was the class... Read More

DeVry University, is underrated. I feel that this University deserves an around of applause. My personal experience was fabulous! I lived on campus when we had dorms at the Fremont, CA campus for 1 year and I loved it. I started my journey in 2015 and now 2.5 years later, I have my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. DeVry prepares you for the real world. This school gives you the tools to advance your skills and to practice your skills on the job. I'm currently, going for my MBA with... Read More

Expensive, but worth every penny. This school is very good in preparing students like myself for a career in business. Especially when trying to balance work, school and children. Also, combined with the technology aspect for advancement in my future.

My degree is a BS in Technical Management. DeVry uses this degree to give course credit based on past experience, military training, and non-transferable classes allowing you to finish your degree quicker. I started with the school at 48 years old because finishing a degree was always important to me. My opinion of DeVry is that they are committed to you completing your degree as long as you are committed to completing your degree. Like traditional schools I've attended courses are not always fun... Read More

Devry is a great school for engineers or professionals looking to receive your degree from a school that works around your schedule. It doesn't make too much difference where you get your degree, it's the amount of work you put into your career after school.

Derry covers all the same study areas as standard BS universities. The difference is greater practical application verses theoretical study. I finished my BSEET with a 3.85 leading me to a 33 year career with Intel Corp. My experiences during my career are numerous and i wouldn't trade them for anything. While at Intel I worked in manufacturing, product development and 14 years in research with Intel Labs. I'm now retired and my career with Intel has been a great experience. I'm grateful for my education... Read More

I attended DeVry from September 2009 thru October 2012 studying Business Management and Human Resources Management. I enjoyed attending the classes onsite, but had to take several online courses in 2011 and 2012 because the onsite classes weren't available. I graduated Suma Cum Laude because I studied very hard, and read everything in the textbooks and associated online information. I prefer the onsite classes because of the knowledge gleamed from discussions with other students and professors. I... Read More

I was in the Business Management Program with a concentration on Technical management The professors and staff here at DeVry University in Westminster Colorado are the best. If you need anything or just need to talk because you are so overwhelmed whether at school or at home there doors are always open 24/7. The Aspire program is the best because I used it and it is a great tool that DeVry has to help the students. Go attend DeVry University it is well worth it.

I am a 45 year old who has recently made a big decision to go to school. I think that if someone wants to take the time to do this then DeVry is the school for you. They have made it very easy to know what you need to do, how you are going to pay for it, what your bills will be at the end of the journey, and they are here to help you suceed to do what you are capabile of doing. I am glad that I took the time to pursue this journey with them. I recommend that each student take COLL148 before any other... Read More

This school is not worth your time or money. There has been several times while in class I have heard people joke that they did not answer the questions on the assignment, however, they still got full credit. One of my continuous issues was trying to get intouch with my advising team. It took them a whole week to get back to me. The teachers do not necessarily grade your work on quality, it is if you turned it in. All Washington campus's are closing. After receiving the call from young gal at the... Read More

DeVry offers small classes that allows for a closer experience with the instructor and fellow students for a more personal enviroment in the class room. Taking night classes helps with Instructors that have real world experiences and bring an example that is easy to understand.

This is a great institution for those that are looking for advancement in the workforce. They provide superior assistance in completing their program than a "traditional" university. In addition, for those of us that work, the accessibility is second to none. Nevertheless, no matter your future decision, make sure that you manage your DOE credit line, MGIB, and/or your personal finances properly.

I have not had a major problem with finances, but in terms of an education, I feel that I am more intelligent than more than 50% of the professors. Most have outdated teaching styles, are lazy, and use words to make you feel inferior. In reality, the past 5 out of 10 classes I have been forced to use the internet to teach myself. I sit through the lectures, participate in group activities, but the book and assignments are error ridden and teach you a very small amount. It is better to not even go... Read More

Despite it's dubious reputation as a for-profit school, my experience at the DeVry University Federal Way, Washington campus was very good. Admission is easy but the academic standards are high and the curriculum was challenging. The Federal Way campus is a small community so class sizes are small. The professors all had industry experience and want the students to succeed. Building a rapport and professional relationship is easy. The degree programs are primarily technology related so if you are... Read More

This is a University that wipes you out. It is so expensive. They tell you will finish in 3 yrs but it takes way more than 3 yrs. By the time you graduate you will owe over 70,000. I am still paying my student loan and it is 2015 now. Also they will tell you they will place you or find you a good job and that is not a true statement.
