I enjoyed my time at DePaul University. I unfortunately spent my first year online as we dealt with the pandemic and everything was remote. I enjoyed most of my classes as my professors were helpful and taught the lectures well. I would recommend DePaul to others.

I had a great time studying at DePaul University. My class schedules were flexible, and did not conflict with my work schedule. The material covered was also comprehensive and high standard; and helped understand both contextual and abstract ideas that give meaning to human interactions and life in general. I also got to interact with some great minds.

My experience at DePaul University was mixed. I appreciated the opportunity to complete my degree and encountered a few supportive professors along the way. However, the overall experience felt fairly average. At times, I felt that academic engagement and institutional support for students could have been stronger. While I value the education I received and the degree I earned, I left feeling that the university could do more to create a more enriching and supportive experience for students.

I transferred to depaul as a junior, and attended for 3 years, 2 of which were during the pandemic. I felt that DPU handled the hybrid schooling situation well. I got a well rounded education, and there were many opportunites for extra curricular involvement. However, after I graduated I was dissapointed by their handling of the summer 2024 events that took place on campus.

My time at DePaul was a great experience. I really enjoyed having faculty who cared about their students and were willing to help. My faculty and advisors were very helpful at communicating career opportunities and for keeping me on track to graduate. DePaul Central staff are very helpful with financial aid and payment questions. One of my main reasons for choosing DePaul was because of the offered resources. Resources like the Writing Center, SI, and the Library were all offered to help students... Read More

DePaul's degree program was really great because they really focus on opportunity for different cultures and ethnicities. They also teach you a lot about Chicago history and the history of the school, as well as the founder St Vincent De Paul. He was basically an icon to them because he believed in equality and opportunity for anyone and everyone. I loved all of my professors, although of course I had some that I didn't really care for. I would say those professors for my non core classes. My core... Read More

DePaul did a great job supporting me throughout my undergraduate experience. It took a minute for me to find my way and simply understand the inter-workings of secondary education. Processes like picking, classes, defining a major was a bit confusing initially. Once I connected with my advisor it was a breeze. Dr Ruth was awesome and very helpful. She also educated me on supportive resources that were available to me. I did my bachelors in 3 years, well really 2.5. I really like how DePauls school... Read More

Don't do it. The quarter system is horrible for finding internships because you're in school until mid-June and is very stressful. You're living the thankless corporate rat race life while you're in school if you study IT at DePaul. I regret the choice I made, so I'm writing this because maybe I will save someone from getting stuck with the same stressful and not-worth-it experience. Oh, and don't expect all of what you learn to be cutting edge. We had to learn Ruby on Rails and no employer cares... Read More

DePaul University was a very good educational institution for me as their focus on social justice issues helped to prepare me well for a career in social services. The emphasis on helping others which was ingrained in me during my time there helped to shape my worldview in a positive way and give me direction as I sought to identify what I wanted to pursue after graduation.

DePaul University is a wonderful school with a great focus on networking. I've made so many connections that have aided me in my undergrad and grad school experience. While attending, I had the pleasure of meeting teachers, professors, and faculty members who genuinely care for their students. Also, DePaul emphasizes having a sense of citizenry. That vibe thrives throughout the entire on-campus and online community.
