The university had a lot of issues with organization of coursework. Professors were largely left unsupervised when it came to the course work and testing methods used during courses. Often times lab professors and lecture ones would not cordinate and the courses would be covering different material at different times. Final exam scheduling often had conflicts, and exams often were not properly edited and would have spelling, and grammatical errors that would cause confusion.

D’Youville University Pharmacy Program – A Warning to Future Students
As a former student in D’Youville’s PharmD program, I feel compelled to speak out so others can make informed decisions before enrolling. What I experienced over the course of my time in this program was not just disappointing; it was disheartening, inequitable, and at times, deeply unethical.
Despite promising equal support for all students, the school consistently treated its online students as second-class citizens. Our lectures... Read More
Accommodations for disabilities were ignored when it mattered most. I was granted extra time on exams due to a documented medical diagnosis, yet this was flat-out denied during critical in-person testing. When I raised this issue, it was brushed aside with no explanation, no apology, and no alternative, a direct violation of my legal rights and a personal betrayal of trust.
Worse, the school failed to secure clinical rotation sites, something they promised when we enrolled. When placements fell through, we were told we’d simply be delayed an entire year in graduating (as if that was some "minor" inconvenience). This threat hung over our heads while we scrambled to fix a problem that wasn’t ours to solve.
But the most devastating moment came when I was falsely accused of cheating, based on a single letter from a student I had previously refused to help cheat. No evidence was ever provided. None of the other students named were even questioned. I was dismissed, and when I appealed, I was judged by a biased panel that included faculty with personal conflicts of interest. I was never given a fair chance to defend myself.
This program does not protect its students. It does not listen. It does not lead with integrity. And it does not deserve the trust of students who give everything to pursue a career in pharmacy.
If you are considering D’Youville, ask the hard questions. Demand transparency. Speak to current students in all learning tracks, not just the ones hand-picked for tours. You deserve an education built on respect, support, and fairness. I sincerely hope future students never have to endure what I did.

D'Youville graduate nursing school is great, if you're the type of student who likes to teach everything to yourself, enjoys being misdirected as to which classes to sign up for by your academic adviser (thereby being forced to be in school an additional semester), appreciates online coursework where your only assignment is to read the textbook and then the professor test you on it, or prefers online course where the professor does VOPP for some content, then gets lazy and decides to not teach the... Embarking on a journey towards a Doctorate program, or any graduate program for that matter, can be both exciting and daunting. The pressure to survive a competitive environment all while aiming to positively shape my character as a future professional seemed so overwhelming for a 20 something year old who was struggling to transition from a sheltered life into the real world. Luckily Ive found D'Youville College. Moving across the country to pursue a career at this school has been one of the best... Read More

Having a degree in Nursing has given me the confidence to stand in the gap for those who are not educated or opportune to have affordable healthcare. An example I found out based on the population of patients I take care of that those who do not have an education end up worse than they came to the hospital because most time they do not understand the treatment plan or procedure. As a result they allow anything and any medication. Lack of education has led many to a state of dissatisfaction with their... Read More

D'Youville College is a great school to go to for pursuing a degree in Occupational Therapy. The professors care about each student and really look to be invested in each one of their student's educations. I am very happy that I am at D'Youville. I would not want to be in any other program. I feel so cared about and I know that I will do very well in the program because of this.

D'Youville College School of Pharmacy is a challenging program yes, but between the staff and peers you have every resource you would need to succeed. The faculty includes pharmacists from all over the world, each with their own specialty. This diversity among staff benefits the students in a way where each member has something unique to offer. Another benefit of the D'Youville College School of Pharmacy are the intimate class sizes. The quaint class size allows for one on one time between students... Read More

PT program has ups and downs. Some professors are great while others are awful. Gross anatomy is the worst taught class I have ever taken. The building the program is in is very outdated and hard to find a power outlet. Handicap accessibility is non-existent which is sad for a health professions school.

The graduate program I am in is very small with under 10 students in every class. This is a pro and a con. We receive more attention from the professors, but less student discussions which are also valuable. The professors are also very available outside of the classroom and willing to meet often. They are knowledgable and dedicated to the program and students.

I'm very happy with my decision to attend D'Youville College. It is a smaller school which makes for a more home like feeling. The professors are wonderful and I like that I can go to them at any time for advice or help. Graduate school is expensive including your living costs if you are out of town. But in the long run getting my education and doing everything I can to fund my education is what is most important to me.

I love the program's small class size. It makes you as a student feel more accountable. Also, I feel like I'm getting a lot of attention from the professors because there are not hundreds of students in each class. The campus is small and everything is easily accessible.
