I felt for the price paid of well over average standard tuition fees per year, the quality of experience and outcome of the degree were not commensurate. The competition is what makes you thrive and grow to push yourself in all kinds of ways. Overall, the location was safe and gave a good preview on city life.

Columbia University is a great school with great resources in the middle of NYC. You gain exposure to so many awesome experiences and culture with wonderful people and teachers who know what they teach.

I believe New York is THE PLACE to study Urban Design, and Columbia GSAPP Urban Design program does great justice to that. It's an excellent 1-year program which hosts a good academic environment with great faculties, diverse background of students, the greatest library facilities and so many more!
