Although it has been over 12 years since I graduated from college, I remember having a positive experience at CSUN. I had great professors that I learned a lot from. I participated in research and research competition with some of my classmates and have gained valuable experience from it.

California State University is a great school for those who are seeking a good quality education for a lower cost. As I was attending school I was able to get grants to cover my tuition in full since the tuition was so low that was possible. As well as getting federal financial aid, CSUN offers private grants through the university if your grades are high, I believe a 3.5 GPA or higher. CSUN is a great school with so many undergraduate and graduate programs. Professors were of great help and they relate to you, they are with you all the way. As a student you need to seek help and you will get it, they have all the resources. I spent four years working on my bachelors' degree and I have a double major. There are ways where you can work it out to graduate in four years with a minor or a second degree. Overall, I love CSUN, is a wonderful school.

California State University Northridge is an outstanding school, it challenged me in ways I would have never thought and educated me throughout my time there to be a well rounded individual. The professors are extremely helpful; they place great importance on student education. Attending this university prepared me for my future ahead to pursue optometry.

Cal State Northridge was honestly a great school. Like any school, it highly depends on which department of study and which professors/advisors you go to that makes all the difference in your college experience. My best advice is to do your own research on what you are told by staff and always get multiple opinions. Happy studies!
