The guidance through registration was exceptional. The online material was user-friendly and the tasks were listed clearly to keep track of submitted and missing assignments. The instructors were accessible and responsive. Most of the instructions made every effort to establish and open line of approachable and clear communication by posting videos of themselves clarifying projects and assignments. I am not sure why everyone is reviewing Nursing & OTA on the Online site, as they are strictly campus-based programs. I wanted to share my wonderful Online experience, as I would not be where I am today without their programs and staff. I never went to college before and decided to try it when I was 38. Obviously, I had been out of school for a LONG time, and I was very nervous if I could even do it. My academic advisor helped put me at ease and supported me through the whole time I was a student.... Read More Not only did I complete my associate in Business, but I went on to complete an HR associates and my Bachelor of Business Administration, too! ALL Online. The teachers were great; very helpful and understanding when I had personal situations arise. Their Career Services is still available to me and helped me get the job with the company I still work for. I recently reached out for help with my resume, as I’m applying for a promotion, and they did a great job! It's such a bonus to have their assistance whenever I need it, as the school I got my masters degree at never shared they have Career Services, and there was a limited time for it.

I really enjoyed this school. I have been able to learn so much from the instructors and also my classmates as well. I did struggle with the math classes for my degree program and feel like the instructors could be a lot more hands on when it comes to teaching those classes and also, their instructions on the big assignments could be a lot more clearer. I found myself confused at times when working on the Portfolio projects because the directions were not clear. Other than that, I found this school... I am writing this review to prevent others from completing an Associate’s Degree from this college and becoming an OTA. Agencies and companies are reluctant to hire OTAs because of supervision requirements. If you do find a job, you will not make enough money to support yourself. You will be required to work horrendous and long hours for very little pay. If you are thinking of going into OT, get a master’s degree instead. That is par for the course with colleges, but this one boasts continued support into career after graduation. I’ve reached out to career services and not heard back more than one time. It’s a regretful degree choice.

When I first enrolled at Bryant & Stratton, everyone seemed to be so understanding and compassionate about wanting to assist me with my educational journey. Unfortunately, life happened and after attempting to just push through it, I was convinced that it would be best to take a leave of absence, while I took care of my personal issues. Once I was at a point where I was able to focus on my studies and was mentally and emotionally ready to complete my studies, I was then told that I was not able to... They still processed my Financial Aid application yet told me that I had to reapply in order to return to school and complete my degree program. So, despite the fact that I have only two courses left in order to complete my degree program, they were not too understanding, in light of the fact that I was highly encouraged by the academic advisor to take said leave of absence and to take my time returning. DO NOT ENROLL WITH BRYANT & STRATTON, AS THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT ONE THING: GETTING YOUR FINANICAL AID!!!! If you run into life issues, they will convince you to take a leave of absence, then deny you the opportunity to finish the pursuit of your aspirations! I HIGHLY suggest that you seek the opportunity to achieve your educational goals and aspirations at another institution which is more understanding and will not mislead you when you need adequate, quality support and advice, since Bryant & Stratton College Online is NOT it!!!!

Ok, to start off I will say the school itself, at least the campus I was at, was ok. There were some really great instructors that made an impact on my learning experience. There were some instructors that should not be teaching, ever. It showed that they were terrible nurses and were terrible instructors as well. It felt like a few of the instructors got joy out of failing and being a hard-ass on students. They had some serious attitudes that need to be dealt with. They hated their life and took... Read More it out on the students. I had one instructor who gave us a student guide for the midterm. Everyone failed the exam. The study guide the instructor gave us had nothing to do with the midterm. We all complained. All the instructor told us was, you should have studied more of the material. Sometimes, some instructors could not give you a correct answer to the material. Why? Most likely they did not know either. I think out of all of the instructors I had in the nursing program, maybe 6 or 7 actually made an impression on me. In fact, I work at the same hospital, different dept, with one of my former clinical instructors. We still talk. Now, let's talk about the admirative side of the school. I don't have enough thumbs to point down to describe them. Terrible, unorganized, useless, lazy, clueless, etc. The academic advisors are some of the laziest people at the school. Financial Aid advisors are not too far off either. I swear they messed up my apps on purpose to make me pay more each semester. I would like to know how that dept could get audited by the government. The academic advisor I had was impossible to deal with. Took forever to get a reply back. He never was "in the office" and never answered phone calls. He only was festering me when HE wanted something. They say you can choose you clinical sites in location to where you live. That was a lie. They need to learn how to read a map. None of my clinicals were anywhere near where I lived. my drive was anywhere from 45-75 mins to drive to the site. I lived near 4 hospitals where others had their clinicals within a 20 min drive to the sites. All in all, it wasn't that bad of a place. I did graduate, but honestly just go somewhere else more organized and probably cheaper. With all of the headaches, lies, lazy administration, ego-centric instructors, and the over priced bill I am now stuck with, just go somewhere else.

I recently was accepted here and dropped classes immediately after hearing of my financial plan. DO NOT GO HERE. The tuition fees online based on what I got from my financial plan difference was about $10,000. I was going for my diploma in medical billing and coding, it's a 1 year program, however my tuition was $28,000 online. This includes the laptop computer. At best I will make $17 per hour with that diploma. Not to mention, the financial advisors are LAZY they absolutely are not helpful, not... Read More quick with responses and it's almost impossible to get through to them on the phone. He sent me my financial plan, I refused, and transferred me to someone to drop out of my PRELIMINARY classes. The lady I spoke to refused to drop the classes because the date to drop was two days ago BEFORE I knew of my financial plan and how much it would be, ect. They did that on purpose with the hopes I would just only be worried. That the schooling was paid for, but loans have to be paid back....so that's is money they were trying to get without me being fully informed, tried to tell me it was too late to drop and I needed to sign my form saying I accepted the award from the Pell grant. They only want money and try to get the government to pay before you know how much your tuition is going to be. DO. NOT. APPLY HERE.

If a person is paying for a service that service should be exactly as it as sold to be. Meaning the school sold me on the idea that the lectures and information taught would be done so in a way that made success possible. I feel as though even though I am doing well, and currently on the deans list... I have had to do way to much extra research in order to fully grasp the material being taught. It's either too in depth to the point of confusion and irritation or it's not correct. I have personally... Read More done 9 exams and quizzes, more but for what I remember, I had to start taking pictures of my answers for proof of what I submitted because after turning in a test/quiz/midterm/final, I would score a lower grade because there were answers that I didn't pick selected. Some tests give second chances, so when I try again and pick the answer I know to be wrong but the previous attempt said was right, it marks it wrong. This has happened to me many times . 2 times with no ability to fight it. Then we have the grammatically incorrect lectures, so irritating. We have wrong videos posted in lectures- like the time I watched a video about butterflies and the Smithsonian, but was supposed to be about the inter working of a law office. I have had to buy books, that's the instructors never have even had us use, or they say to refer to the book for something, but there was never any teachings as to how to use the book. (Law books are confusing) also there's an issue with paying more to work online at night but there's no instructional support at night, and the teachers have up to 48 hrs to respond to a question for help. In the day and age of technology, one would think there would be a text ability, that gives each instructor a phone to use for texting and receiving texts from students. Not all teachers comment or give feedback on what needs improvement, they just expect you to do better. I am thinking of finishing this semester and then finding a new college. The employees really sell the school, I should've know with such a wonderful sales pitch that the school must have issues. I was right. Bryant, please improve or charge us less. Your choice .

I personally have had a great experience in the OTA program in Ohio. The instructors are all very professional, they really care as long as you show up, give it your all & put the work in! Tutoring is always available & there are so many resources! I have learned so much 2 semesters down & 3 more to go! This program really is a great program & at my location all my instructors are amazing. All my online psych teachers are also great! Overall I have had nothing but an amazing experience.

This school is horrible, I would not recommend it to my worst enemy. They control every move you make, if you want to go down to part time they threaten you that you might not get clinical placement and might have to re enroll. The Dean is the rudest person I have ever met. She lets her teachers say and do whatever they want to their students and if the student sticks up to that teacher, it’s the student who gets reprimanded. They will switch the syllabus, tracking calendar, exams, you name it in... Read More the middle of the semester. And not even mention it to the students until it’s actively happening. They don’t care that two teachers (for the same class) will be teaching different material but will be giving the exact same exam. They don’t care if their teachers don’t teach and just read off of a slide. The teachers never add their own material or extra information. Half the slides are a picture and that’s all you get, but there will be 10 questions on the exam on that one specific area. It’s like a bad dream you can’t escape. You can go through the chain of commands all the way to the president and still nothing will be done.

Good: Some genuinely great professors that want to help you succeed and clearly know the subject matter well. Bad: Administration, particularly the Dean of Nursing Linda Krueger, is incompetent and actively works against both students and professors.
