Berkeley College

The overall experience with Berkeley College was pretty good. The school is mostly a business school and did not have much criminal justice classes like they do business. I took more business classes than criminal justice. The financial aid department was very flawed and I have not more to say about them. There weren't opportunities during the career fair for CJ students. You might have encountered one or two companies looking to hire CJ students, but there was always a process. For the classes itself,... Read More you get what you put in. Most instructors were very helpful, and others were not that great. After graduation it was very hard to find employment. After about a year after graduation, I landed a job with a great company that I found for myself and I still work for this company in a leadership role. I graduated from Berkeley in 2013. I'm sure a lot has changed for the CJ students in Berkeley. My advice to you is to put all of your effort into your work. And as far as for finding employment, try to expand your job specifics even if that means looking for a job in a different state.

Aside from the great curriculum offered through Berkeley College, one thing stood out the most; the staff and employees. The employees will go to far lengths to meet and assist all students. There accommodation is commendable and was one of the most important things for me throughout my college career. It was a wonderful experience attending Berkeley College and I would highly recommend this school to anyone.

Berkeley College's International Business program is challenging yet exciting. The coursework is turned into comprehensive instruction by the professors on a level that all students can understand. The diversity is incredible, with not just students from all over the country, but from all over the world. Students' ideas are shared, valued, and implemented where applicable. The resources available also provide students with a sense of well-being, security, and reliance on the facilities and resources provided. Students may also take online courses, or even study a hybrid of online and in-person in order to accommodate work schedules and other prior commitments.

Worst place I have ever been to . The instructors vary from caring and attentive to out right spiteful and negligent. The different campuses are widkey different. And they don't all run every course every semester so if you not mobile or keen on hopping from campus to campus it's a pain in the ass l. Also the majority of the staf are not as vet friendly as they say nor are they understanding of individual issues so if you have any medical problems don't expect any leeway for appointments. There seems to be an air of incompetence and favoritism that runs rampid through that place and don't expect your confidential files to actually be confidential. Also if you do go and hate it suck it up because it's a private school so your credits do not transfer to any school you will have to start all over again .
