If youre relying on financial aid a lot like I am nowadays after going to a traditional school, then this will probably work out for you. Ive gotten my -associates degree in a good online school, as well as done on campus, and Im just glad this school isnt my first experience. This is a SELF TAUGHT school; I say that in capital letters because not everyone is going to do well with that. Sure, I can read law journals online, but taking a criminal law class with absolutely no module material is actually... Read More

I have nothing but great things to say. The academic advising has been great and very responsive. I feel that the classes are informational and the work is real. I have gone to physical colleges and online schools in the past and this school is by far the best. It is by no means easy and you will have to work very hard to complete the courses. Lots of writing is involved and everything must be in APA formate. I love that the classes are 8 weeks. **This is a real review, from a real student, no games.... Read More

This a very good school, although it's not a traditional brick and mortar your learning experience will be as good or better based on flexibility. While attending I was working as a Police officer and juggling a family of five, which made it almost impossible for me to return to school. Aspen University offered the flexibility I needed to achieve my life long dream of earning a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice. I was also awarded a 7 percent raise from my current employer.

I am now officially a Aspen University graduate! I passed my final proctored exam and paid my graduation fee, so my degree is coming in the mail as I write this. Aspen University is a great school if you are a working adult. There are only discussion posts and homework assignments; there are no midterms and finals, which makes it great if you work full time and are raising a family. I have attended a lot of online universities, but Aspen was the best bar none. I received a promotion because of my... Read More

I worked very hard to earn my BSCJ from Aspen, and my disappointment is two fold. First is that they will tell you anything that you want to hear in order for you to enroll and will be quick to return phone calls and emails until you have a problem. If you do experience a problem it is impossible to get a return call or email and when you do get in contact with someone there are no answers or solutions, they just give you the runaround. They also have this habit of changing course curriculum without... Read More

Going to Aspen University is perfect for a parent who has no time (or barely any time) to study or do their homework. If your employer says that you need such & such degree to advance then I would highly recommend Aspen University. What is an Online student? An Online student seeks a degree to better his chances of improving his resume and that is it. You need that piece of paper to get you that advancement (like what I am currently doing). I didn't become an Online students t to be educated, as... Read More
