If youre relying on financial aid a lot like I am nowadays after going to a traditional school, then this will probably work out for you. Ive gotten my -associates degree in a good online school, as well as done on campus, and Im just glad this school isnt my first experience. Youre most likely going to do some discussion posts, and do an assignment every week. Is this the kind of learning I want? No. But for then price, Aspen allows me to finish up the other half of my almost finished Bachelors degree. I wouldnt recommend you going on here on the sole basis that I havent learned anything new over the last few months. However, if youre in a situation where money is tight, and you see those job requirements with bachelors degree required, then this is an affordable way to finish yours.

I have nothing but great things to say. The academic advising has been great and very responsive. I feel that the classes are informational and the work is real. I have gone to physical colleges and online schools in the past and this school is by far the best. It is by no means easy and you will have to work very hard to complete the courses. I am now officially a Aspen University graduate! I passed my final proctored exam and paid my graduation fee, so my degree is coming in the mail as I write this. Aspen University is a great school if you are a working adult. There are only discussion posts and homework assignments; there are no midterms and finals, which makes it great if you work full time and are raising a family. My employer didn't care of the name of the school, as long as it is a legit university; which Aspen is. I am going to now enroll in the Masters program in Education because---why not?! The school doesn't try to steal your money; financial aid was always honest with me and always disbursed my money when it was time. Thank you Aspen University! I'm so proud to be an alumni!

I worked very hard to earn my BSCJ from Aspen, and my disappointment is two fold. First is that they will tell you anything that you want to hear in order for you to enroll and will be quick to return phone calls and emails until you have a problem. If you do experience a problem it is impossible to get a return call or email and when you do get in contact with someone there are no answers or solutions, they just give you the runaround. I entered the school with minimal outside credits and took the vast majority through the school and was not looking for any shortcuts or for anything that I did not deserve, I just wanted to be treated fairly. At the end of the day Aspen University is a business and their main goal is to turn a profit not to have your best educational experience in mind. There are so many online schools available and I would recommend going someplace else.

Going to Aspen University is perfect for a parent who has no time (or barely any time) to study or do their homework. If your employer says that you need such & such degree to advance then I would highly recommend Aspen University. What is an Online student? You learn on the job, you're not going to learn from a book when your employer is going to teach you something completely different. Would I have loved to gone to an Online school that has an athletic program, actual campus, etc like USC, Liberty, Arizona State and Southern New Hampshire University? Of course! But I also have to face the fact that I am a father, husband and full time employee. I don't have time to study for mid terms and finals. Aspen doesn't have mid terms and finals. Look, just get the degree! Move up in your life by not spending all that extra money at those Brick & Mortars who cannot promise you a high paying job. Trust me when I say; Aspen is super easy. It may be DETC Accredited, but as long as your employer doesn't care about prestige, then why not go for it? Earn a degree without neglecting your family and not spend hours studying for a mid term and final. Trust me, go to Aspen!
