I graduated from ASU with a BAE, Secondary Education (Earth and Space Science). The degree is a very challenging one as it encompasses the majority of a BS in Geological Science as well as a degree in secondary education. The time demands and work load can be exhausting. Personally I completed my degree as a father of 2 children, working a full-time job, and was able to complete this. There were many nights where I wouldn't start my ASU work load until 11pm, but I got it done. I actually graduated... Read More

Arizona State University has been an excellent experience and opportunity. I majored in Secondary Education and have been very happy with my experience in the Mary Lou Fulton's Teachers College and the iTeach program. I have been impressed with the passion, knowledge, and care that the majority of my professors brought to class each and every day. Degree: Secondary Education
I am a graduate of Arizona State University, where I earned a degree in English, a degree in Secondary Education, and a certificate in Philosophy, Literature, and Rhetoric. The education I received as an adult student who returned to school prepared me to pursue a career as a high school teacher. There was a diverse selection of courses both in person and online, allowing me to continue to work full time as well as pursue my degrees as a full time student. The faculty was knowledgeable and helpful... Read More

I thought the degree program was great. It was very focused on the cultural aspect of teaching as well as technology integration. It was very helpful going into the career field and preparing myself to be an educator so that I could learn to understand the students point of view as well as their connections between literature and the real world. I would recommend ASU to anyone. Although the campus may seem large and intimidating, the class sizes were small and manageable and I felt like home in my... Read More

Overall pretty average university, not that I have a lot of comparable experiences. I think there are some really great professors and classes that I would say were above the average but for the most part an average university. Some colleges had more friendly advisors and professors but I think that is to be expected of any university.
