I attended Adelphi University from 2021-2024. I graduated on time and never failed any of my nursing classes while I was there. I love the campus because it’s big, friendly and there is a lot to do. It’s impossible to get lost there as there are many maps all over the place. I was primarily in the Nexus building for my nursing classes but I also went to other buildings as well.

Adelphi University is unique in its location and on campus atmosphere. It is situated in a location that is close to many of the local eateries and highways. If you have a car or use public transportation it is very easy to get around when looking for something to do off campus. The campus is beautiful and always changing due to the arts programs that display student and professors creation around the grounds and in the buildings. The staff and faculty at any department that I had experience with,... Read More

I attended Adelphi University for my bachelor's degree. The campus is beautiful and serene. The faculty and staff in the Psychology department were kind and helpful. Classes were taught by educated professors that cared about their students. Classroom size were small compared to other universities, which was what I really liked about the school.

The professors go above and beyond and continue to support you post-graduation. I learned a lot about the field, grew so much in my undergraduate career, and my experiences while attending helped push me in the right direction on my career path. The classes offered and great and will definitely push you while learning as much as possible.

Throughout my time spent at Adelphi I truly enjoyed my program. In regards to my education itself I feel I am fully prepared for the career I am seeking. The amount of support I had when I was enrolled in my university was amazing. However my thoughts and feelings of Adelphi all changed post graduation. I have had NO guidence getting certified as a teacher beyond the exams. I have had NO one reach out to me regarding my next steps in life. This university does not care about you post graduation.

I grew up with the dreams of being a performer on Broadway. I loved to act and dance, but most importantly I loved to sing. I chose to go to this university merely because it was the best financial option for me, not because it was well known for their theater arts program. I was accepted into their music program and they knew that I was interested in pursuing musical theater upon graduation. Unfortunately, the university did not have any vocal coaches that focused on musical theater repertoire,... Read More

My experience at Adelphi University was certainly full of life-changing experiences. From my classes, to work experience, to extracurriculars, I learned a lot about the person that I was and who I wanted to be.
Ill start with talking about my classes. I was an International Studies major with a focus on Political Science and Spanish, and part of the Levermore Global Scholars Program. My professors were all wonderful. I learned from intelligent and motivated individuals who were all still practicing... Read More

Although tuition for the program is high, I have no doubt I will be able to pay it off in no time with my current job. The program is rigorous but no doubt will have you prepared for the real world and what to expect. In my first semester I was treating patients with state of the art equipment provided by Adelphi. I had professors who knew my name and took their time to explain the material in depth if needed. I made lifelong friendships and great networking connections, who I still keep in contact... I will always be indebted to Adelphi University because it's where I became who I was meant to be. I earned three degrees from Adelphi--a BA and two masters degrees--so clearly, I had positive experiences there. My MFA professors took the time to get to know me. They praised my good work and called me out on things that were sub par and pushed me to do better. Classes are small and taught primarily by full time faculty who are fully invested in their students' work. These professors have honed the... Read More

The programs and teachers at this school are amazing. Most classes are generally small, allowing more teacher to student contact, especially if you need help with a subject in class. The dorms and the school's grounds are gorgeous too, and there is a large variety of places to go in and around campus to stave off boredom.

Adelphi is an excellent school. The staff is very supportive and provide resources needed in order for you to be successful while completing your academic studies. The classes are small and intimate, which is great, so you can receive the one on one if needed. Unlike city universities, where you can sometimes feel like just a number.

Adelphi University is known for its school of Social Work, and I might say that it does live up to its reputation. I received a stellar education at Adelphi and was hired by the agency that I interned for through the school. The field placement assignments are well organized and excellent in providing instruction in social work practice.
