#1 Eastern Oklahoma State College

Eastern Oklahoma State College offers multiple degrees that can be obtained through a blend of online and in-person classes, with five degree programs being offered entirely online. Those degrees include an Associate of Science in Business Administration, an Associate of Science in Criminal Justice, an Associate of Science in Computer Information Systems, an Associate of Arts in General Studies, and an Associate of Arts in Psychology/Sociology. The same academic services that are afforded to traditional students — such as scholarships and financial aid, career counseling, and a bookstore — are also provided to distance learners. All classes are asynchronous; however, online students must adhere to the same assignment and test deadlines as on-campus students.

Ten associate degrees are offered through Murray State College’s online learning program, including an Associate of Science in Arts and Sciences, an Associate of Science in Behavioral Sciences-Psychology, an Associate of Science in Business, and many more. Students interested in one of these programs must first confirm that they live in a State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA) state. Online learners are prepared for the distance learning program by undergoing an Online Student Orientation, which is available on the school's website and can be completed at the student's convenience.

Students interested in the online learning program designed by Tulsa Community College can choose an associate degree or certificate through the School of Business and Information Technology, the School of Child Development and Education, the School of Liberal Arts and Communication, or Science and Mathematics. Through the business school, students can obtain a Business Certificate, Accounting Specialist Certificate, Associate of Science in Marketing, or the Associate of Applied Science in Management, among other options. Degree and certificate options through the other schools include a Child Development Certificate of Mastery, an Associate of Arts in Elementary Education, or an Associate of Science in Mathematics.

Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology offers three online information technology degrees: an Associate in Applied Science, an Associate in Science, and a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technologies. All of the courses and exams for these degrees can be taken entirely online through the university's D2L online site. Their programs are flexible and are designed for busy adults who need to balance their coursework around their professional and family lives. Their membership in NC-SARA, allows them the opportunity to provide distance education to students in most states. Prospective students can check OSUIT’s website to verify their state’s eligibility.

#5 Northern Oklahoma College

Northern Oklahoma College, situated in Tonkawa, OK, offers an online learning experience designed to meet the demanding scheduling needs of its diverse student body. Providing two avenues of distance learning, students can select which choice is the better option for their learning situation. In addition to fully online classes that allow students to log in at their convenience, there is an option to attend live courses that are delivered over Zoom. Students choosing the synchronous option will log in at a set time and watch instructors deliver course material in a traditional lecture format. Both formats use the Blackboard learning management system for coursework delivery and submittal. Most general education requirements can be completed online, and Associate degrees in Business Administration, Enterprise Development, Arts and Science, and Child Development can be completed entirely online. 

#6 Rose State College

Rose State College offers five Associate of Science and Associate of Arts degrees, and two Associate of Applied Science degrees online. Students can choose an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science in Business, Corporate Education, English, Interdisciplinary Studies, or Social Sciences General Option. Alternatively, an Associate of Applied Science in Cyber Security or an Associate of Applied Science in Library Technical Assistant are also available. There is a $12 fee on top of each course to cover the cost of electronic course delivery. Distance learners can easily access the online semester schedule and technical support through the school’s website.

#7 Western Oklahoma State College

One certificate and seven associate degrees are available to obtain fully online through Western Oklahoma State College’s distance learning program. Students can choose an Associate of Science in Liberal Arts; Associate of Arts in Behavioral Science; Associate of Applied Science in Child Development; Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice; Associate of Science in Early Childhood; Associate of Science in Health-Physical Education and Recreation; or Associate of Science in Infants and Toddlers. Alternatively, a Certificate in Infants and Toddlers can be obtained online. Classes are delivered in an eight-week format and each three-hour-credit course is $420.

#8 Carl Albert State College

Several associate degrees and certificates are available to earn through the online learning program created by Carl Albert State College. Students interested in obtaining a certificate can choose a Certificate in Child Development with a director’s focus, or a focus in infant/toddler mastery. Individuals interested in an online associate degree can pick from an Associate of Arts in Business Administration, Child Development, General Studies, Social Studies, Sociology/Psychology, or an Associate of Applied Science in Child Development, Computer Technology, or Occupational Health and Safety.

An Associate of Arts in Liberal Studies is offered entirely online through the distance learning program designed by Oklahoma City Community College. Students pursuing the Associate of Arts in Liberal Studies can explore general education electives, humanities electives, social science electives, and approved major electives. Upon graduation, students are equipped with oral, written communication and problem-solving skills, and are able to transfer this degree to a four-year college.<br>
